Mark Gallant was born and raised in the Bay State. Highly influenced by 80's pop culture, he found an interest in storytelling, primarily through visual media. He drew comics and made videos throughout his teenage years, and ultimately decided to go to film school. After graduating from Fitchburg State College, Mark spent ten years as a filmmaker before "retiring" to focus on his writing.
In 2003, Mark began work on a screenplay, originally intended as the first in a series of shorts. The story soon became the basis for a book, and in October 2005, he published his first novel, Station 12.
Currently Mark finds himself wearing many hats in life… a cog in the corporate machine, a writer, husband and father. If he had any spare time, he would probably read more and start a hydroponics garden.
